Warm Cinnamon Rolls

Soft, fluffy cinnamon rolls topped with a sweet glaze, bursting with rich cinnamon flavor. Perfectly gooey in the center, these rolls offer a delightful sweetness with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk, warm to about 110°F
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened, for filling
  • Powdered sugar, for icing
  • 2 tbsp milk, for icing

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, melted butter, eggs, salt, and the yeast mixture. Mix until it forms a dough.

  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it.

  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough, then tightly roll it up from the long side.

  7. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased baking pan.

  8. Cover the pan and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes, until puffy.

  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), then bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.

  10. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
